  1. I have a brand new, only used a few times, Switchbox Control unit. (http://switchboxcontrol.com/) available for sale. It is configured with an AT&T Sim card. Nothing wrong with the unit, can control two different plugs, great for remote turning on of an engine heater etc. Asking $250. (Was $299.99 + $30 for AT&T Sim)
  2. I have a Directional Gyro that only spent about 26-28 hours in my Mooney before I ended up doing my Glass Panel upgrade. Was Yellow Tagged at install to the Mooney and flew less than 300 hours. Looking for $950 or best offer.
  3. Ok, so a little late on the pictures. But here they are. Turn coordinator, I have the other stuff, bellows etc that I can include if needed. Reasonable offers accepted.
  4. I'll post up pictures tonight
  5. Awesome, that helps!!
  6. Awesome thanks! I think I need to get one of those service manuals....it would help me become a more informed owner anyway. Thankfully....my landings aren't usually too horrible....but it is loaded up quite often
  7. I have been looking around here, and I'm not finding a specific answer to this, so if I'm missing something sorry! I have a 1968 M20C and I'm coming up on my next annual. My gear biscuits still look good, but I'm seeing signs/reports here that they should be replaced after __ years, or other similar bits of feedback. But i"m having trouble finding that guidance, as well as I'm having trouble with what exactly kind of biscuits are there? It appears that Lord makes them, but it appears that they are actually for E+ models, not the C. Thoughts? Links/Advice?
  8. Having just finished my big upgrades to the Mooney in December I have the factory Turn Coordinator from my 1968 M20C that I might look to sell if there is any interest. It is the one setup to work with the Wing Leveler. I do have the three bellows available as well, but one of them is a bit sketchy in appearance, granted the system worked well before it was removed. I can get pictures posted here a bit later. But looking to see if there is any interest? No idea what its worth, so make an offer!
  9. Mine took a day and a half, as there was an issue with the static system test that required re-certification. The pre-buy is so important though that you don't want anyone rushed.
  10. Sent you a message with a few pictures! I'm gong to do a more detailed review later in a separate post.
  11. I fly a M20C as well, and when I was looking for mine encounted one of those "owner special" modified aircraft. As others have said, the key here is if the logbooks & a detailed pre-buy come up clean. If they do its a decent deal. Avionics are expensive, I just got done with a $50+K upgrade to my panel...so having some nicer avionics is a good leg up. And remember asking price is just that, a starting point.
  12. I used these guys - http://afreedomloan.com/ they were awesome when I bought my Mooney, and great with the refinance I did this year for Avionics Upgrades too.
  13. I find that mine runs very well at 2400-2500 RPM and with 18-19" of MP I'm at about flap speed. 120MPH. The fuel burn then is quite low as well. No problems at all with running that configuration in my experience either.
