My J is the same way. I replaced mine with one from Spruce last year and when i finally got it on (took a lot of trimming to get the door closed) it was never a tight seal and the adhesive didnt work well at all.

I definitely want both seals, mine have been in terrible condition for two years. Do i need to do anything further as far as payment, shipping address, etc?
