The plane comes with a hanger and I was running through the numbers. I have friends that are mechanics that could work with me on the job. I also have a military flight club that I can use to fly now while working on the project. I will look into the model J. I looked on the normal sites for planes and there doesn't seem to be a lot out there. That's why I asked here in the forum.

Good day all, With the increase in Mooney prices, I am thinking about getting the first Mooney that I flew as a child in a discovery flight. It will be a complete nose to tail project, but when finished it will all be new. I would like to get the thoughts of others before I pull the trigger on this idea.

Is there anything I should look out for or consider when checking this bird out?
