Hey outlaw, I am fighting my flap pump and I read an old post where you did too. My question is this: is there a rubber oring replacement for the leather rings? As you mentioned it is almost impossible to stretch them over the piston without enlarging or tearing the material. Just wondered how you did yours? thanks

Sorry for the slow response but I never got a notification of this message, I just found it today. That was awhile ago and I honestly don't really remember what I did but I think I just finally stretched them over the piston, and it worked great ever since.
