Those volcanoes in the Pacific Northwest are really something to behold from an airplane. I remember about 8 years ago I was flying my Encore from Sandpoint, ID to Napa, CA. It was one of those "severe clear" days with visibility unlike any I had ever seen. At one point, somewhere near Yakima, WA, I was able to see Mts. Ranier, St. Helens, Adams, Hood, Jefferson and the Sisters near Bend, OR. I'll never forget it.
