Many, such as myself, refer to complex and beautiful machines in the feminine gender sense. My gorgeous E I call The Mistress, and my equally beautiful MB GLA-45 AMG I call the Petite Mistress, given that she is a bit younger and perky, although not as mature handling, than the aircraft. I discovered, however, on a recent visit to the USS Lexington that is permanently moored in Corpus Christi, that carrier aircraft appear to have, humph, well, appendages that question whether or not they should be included with the ladies...judge for yourself.
