We all know that airports are not a dime a dozen and they are closing all the time. Most the time we have a fight with the local community, or some other jerk trying to close things. But in this case the airport is owned by people that don't even fly, but want to keep the airport open. They just need some funds to help them do so. I think that out of all of those in the pilot/aviation community we could help them out if everyone donates. There is a couple articles below on what is going on. Avweb had no links so I emailed them. When i went to the site to donate they had only a way to mail the information in. ~~~~~UPDATE!~~~~~ You can donate through paypal now! So I called and talked to the Julie Bower who is running everything, I asked her if she is going to have a paypal, or some easy way to pay and she said it's in the works. I know the easier the better! For now though you can go to the link below and donate. You do not have to send that paper though if you don't want to. Go to your online banking and have the bank send a check!! That's what I did! At least do that until the easier methods are avialable. Below is a link to the donate site, then facebook and others!
