Hello - Full disclosure, I work for EI The option to have a 'remote mount' head on the UBG was created specifically for Mooney owners, and we often refer to it (internally) as the 'Mooney Mod.' The depth of the display is roughly 2" deep, which means you can install it in the far left side of the panel, where many of the M20's have a clock. The option adds $98 to the price of the package.
