  1. I too will wait to see how you do. This sounds like it would be the best option. In the meantime an "in-op" placard will have to do.
  2. I’m starting to think this is the best option. Mine also only comes out for the Mrs.
  3. Thanks, l'll give them a try. The cables in mine broke and I think it would be more work to fix that than to convert.
  4. Thank, any ideas on finding one?
  5. I have a 64 E model with manual step extension/retraction. Has anyone converted to pneumatic and if so what did it take.
  6. Thanks to everyone for the info. By the way the cap is to keep the fuel from spilling onto the hanger floor. I'm on a new pump and it sounds $$$$. Thanks again.
  7. Thanks, just don't know what the vent is for.
  8. I have a 1964/E. The vent fitting off the electricity fuel pump started seeping. Just a few drops. Does anyone know what this vent is for?. I have it capped off to stop the dripping on the hanger floor. Ground runs with the cap on appear to have no effect on fuel pressure etc. Engine operation looks normal. Any thoughts. 10. Thanks for the info. I'll check the part # to see if I can find what it's calibrated at. I do run at 2400 or 2500 most of the time but sometime run slower. Doesn't seem to matter. I'll pay more attention on the next flights. Thanks again H
  11. My 1964 E model with 200hp tach always reads real time. If I fly 1 hr at 65% power the tach reads 1 hr. it acts almost like a Hobbs meter. Any thoughts?
