  1. Are you in Nevada? I've got a 64E that I've had for 44 years and 4 engines. It's currently based in Carson City. We're finishing up a bunch of stuff to bring it to South America. My buddy also owns an "Aerostar" Mooney E model, but it hasn't flown in a long time. Both he and I are IAs, but I don't live in NV anymore, and he seems to be in a funny state of working too much or refusing to work at all. I'm sure both of us can lend support, and more, if you're in Northern Nevada. That looks like a very good starting point.
  2. Quote: ELT I know it's been a while since the following post, but I noticed that you referenced having a -21 pump on a 66E model. The -21 is a low-pressure pump for the carbureted engine, and is not approved for nor will it keep the injected engine running in the event the mechanical pump fails. Cheers, Don Went to the airport today to check on my 1966 E. Snow today so no flying. I noted a small fuel stain on the hanger floor and a drip from the "weep" drain from the electric fuel pump. Upon turning the fuel pump on the rate of drip increased. Don Maxwell's (I see Don has joined this forum)Publication on External Hoses, Tubes and Fitings indicates that an electric fuel pump replacement is in order. I will have the local AP check it this week. Has anyone had experience with overhaul or purchase of the Dukes 4140-00-21 pump? thanks,
