I hope this is the correct thread. Pls forgive me if is not. I was flying my TXI, connected to a 750 today on a RNAV rwy 07 CYXX approach. I joined the IAF at 3000 feet, roughly nine miles back. airplane flew it perfectly. It confirmed LPV, and captured the glide slope advisory. The weird thing was the Diamond (advisory gS) was grey the entire way down to minimums, normally this is magenta. (did it lose WAAS?) I have never had this before. I hunted and searched the txi and GTN manual. Did word searches... I came up with nothing. Anyone have any idea?

Vent Knob, above pilot 1977 m20J So I was flying along and; bonk the round black over head vent (heavy/television channel looking) knob drops from the ceiling. I put it away with a plan to put it back, and guess what, I put it somewhere so safe, I can't find it now. So, I need to find another one. Any suggestions?

I have been flying a twin with 430 and aspen and I do like it. The other big thing with ASPEN and my stec 60-2 1. altitude select a hold is coming as an option soon ,,, I am pretty sure I will invest in it. AND 2. Synthetic vision as an option on the Aspen is coming this summer. this is what went me to Aspen over the more expensive G500. Living in the mountains and flying 90 per cent of my time some pretty substantial terrian, this will be a nice safety ... hope I never need it..but worth the investment I believe The only option I didnt choose which I would have liked was the Traffic. My thinking is if I file IFR I will get good seperation.

Nice info gents. All much appreciated. C-GMIO (M20j) goes into Maxcraft next week for a new Aspen, and ...sigh... a 650. My old DME, Apollo Gps and Adf ..all were on life support.. or beyond the grave. I had a 430waas ordered and was very happy with that... but, I was persauded to embrace the future... I plopped down the extra 2k...and fastened my seat belt. I hope I am not making a mistake as what someone earlier described as a Beta tester.... The good news is that the AC is on the same field (CYPK) as the shop... If it works as avertised I think it should be a pretty good panel, on a machine I truly love. Stay tuned....
