Hi All; I'm new to this forum and am considering buying a used Mooney M20 B,C, E, or (F?). I had a '66 M20E 10 years ago and really liked it. It seems that the Prop AD is (still is) a serious problem. I would absolutely NOT consider piddling with recurrent ECI tests every year (or 100 hrs). If I bought a plane with the affected Hartzell prop, I would just go ahead and buy a new one. My question is what is the best, most permanent prop upgrade to eliminate the threat of this kind of AD? I am ready to buy, but need to resolve this issue first. Thanks dwb
