  1. I just posted a very nice complete set of 1960 M20A advertising materials with a brochure, spec sheets and a postcard (6 total pieces) in superb condition. Here's a link to it: M20A Materials
  2. That strat is at great price, but my wife says I have way too many guitars (she's right). My biggest fear is I'll die and she"ll sell them for what I told her I paid for them! The book did sell on an offer, thanks for your interest.
  3. I have a Boxed Special Edition of THE AL MOONEY STORY on eBay at this link: MOONEY BOOK It's a beautiful book and it's signed by Al Mooney and Gordon Baxter. I thought maybe someone on this forum would be interested.
  4. It's annualed as of 08/01/14, I just got the logs back from our IA and posted page views of them at: http://dedrekon.com/MooneyM20E.php
  5. If we don't sell it pretty fast, I'm thinking of running it on BiddingAce at auction. I believe they charge 6% and probably some other fees as well.....does anybody have any experience with them?
  6. This plane is currently in the shop undergoing it's annual inspection. I talked to our IA today and there were no squacks found.
  7. After some serious thought and soul searching, I've decided to sell our '64 Super 21. It's a beautiful machine that we've owned for almost nine years, but it just doesn't fit the mission profile I see in our future. I've created a page with all the info: http://dedrekon.com/MooneyM20E.php I know I'll miss this one, I spent many great hours flying "Jules", but when I got her I was commuting a lot between Redding, California and our home near Portland, Oregon....a short two hour flight via Mooney, or a seven plus hour drive. Now I'm back home and just a few minutes from my hangar. My typical flight is to the coast here, which is only about 50 miles, so this Mooney doesn't really get to be a "Mooney"......which is a fast, fuel efficient time machine. It's just climb out and start your descent. It's a real kick to fly no matter what you're doing, but I'm going back to my flying roots which is back country flying......Cub, Maule, Scout kinda stuff. I'd like to sell it quickly to get over the pain of seperation as fast I can. Contact me with any questions, thanks! Vincent Andersen dedrekon@gmail.com
  8. Where did you find the Southco parts you've listed here? My plastic nylon cup washers are all worn out and/or missing. It looks like it would be easiest to replace all the parts (it would definitely look better), but I'm having a hard time finding them. Also the third belly panel on my E has a row of clip nuts that are coming off.....does anybody know the model or part number for those? Vincent N142EJ
  9. Congrats! I just got mine in February.....it was a lot of work, but very rewarding. I find myself filing all the time now whether it's IMC or not. It helps me stay up to speed in the system and it's nice to know somebody has your back providing seperation with other IFR traffic. Vincent N142EJ
  10. Took and passed the check ride today...........VERY happy to have this done. It was a lot of fun, but I was definitely getting tired of training for it. Oral went great and the actual flight was almost a non-event after all the prep I did. My greatest fear was doing it on Ground-Hog Day.....I hope I don't wake up tomorrow and have to do it all again! Vincent
  11. I tried to get a sign shop to this on my '64 with the old style rounded rear windows, but they said it would never stick and would bubble up around the rivets. Sure looks good!
