  1. Is the Stratus still available?
  2. I had mine painted at Mena, Arkansas. They did a great job for about 10-11K. I'm located in Dyersburg, TN  (west TN).  Good luck

  3. Oh man, my bad. I am located in Louisville, KY. Thanks for the info. Hoping to find something closer obviously but thank you. Maybe I'll get some more. Cheers
  4. Need to get out 1965 m20c painted. Still has original paint on. Or what's left of it. thinking of going all white with decals of some kind. Can we do a scuff and spray since its original paint or do we get it stripped completely? Any idea of new paint costs these days and recommended paint shops? Thanks
  5. We've been having some pretty consistent flap issues the last 6 months or so. We thought we had it fixed but it came back this morning. Here is the scenario. On taxi out the flaps worked fine. After takeoff they retracted normal as did it on approach and landing at out station airport. On taxi out they worked fine but after takeoff they failed to retract. It took about 10 minutes for them to retract and the left one retracted fully and the right one seemed to not come up all the way. Return flight and on arrival no flaps at all. Handle felt very spongy and did nothing. Had to make a flaps up landing. This is not the first time this has happened. It is a recurring thing. Anyone have any ideas? Where is the resevoir for the flap system fluid? We are baffled. Thanks
  6. Need to find a shop that can do the AD prop inspection on my Mooney. Something close to Indy or Cincinatti. Thanks
  7. We have a 1965 M20D . Anyways we find that it is very difficult to keep the cabin warm during the colder months. We noticed that the overhead vents even when fully closed allow some air into the cabin making it rather uncomfortable for longer flights. Has anyone had any experience with this problem and know of a fix that might help us in the winter time? We are considering buying a piece of cloth and having velcro sewn into it on two sides and then just puttling this "patch" over the air vents to prevent the air from coming into the cabin. Might even line the patch with sheepskin or fleece. Is this a viable option? Thanks
