  1. Though this isn't an installed preheater, it may be a good portable solution. http://www.crystal-airways.com/surestart/surefire.asp Cheers chad
  2. Thought i'd bump this to the top of the list as i'm still looking for a co-owner or two. Sorry if I violated some sort of posting etiquette. Hope everyone's new year is off to a good start! cheers chad
  3. I'm an engineer in the silicon valley. Prior to owning I rented the typicall 172/182 piper warrior/arrow types of planes. I've been a mooney owner for the past 8 years all in the same airplane, a 1967 F-Model. It is turbonormalized, which is super great for flying around the west coast and get over/around the Sierras. I've become spoiled having my own air transportation. Everytime I fly the airlines i'm even more thankful for owning an airplane! I like all kinds of flying, random flight down low just because to straightline to visit family 600nm away. I enjoy the challenges of IFR flying not that I do a ton of it being in california. But I do keep current. Cheers chad
  4. HI All, I just found this Mooney specific forum. Looks like a good bunch of folks. I have been a mooney owner (67F) for the past 8 years. I'm currently looking for a new partner. My old partner now has too many kids to fit in the plane Description below: I'm looking for a co-owner to share the joys of a turbo-normalized 1967 F model Mooney. I've owned this with another partner for the past 8 years. Having the turbo-normalizer gives you sea level performance up at altitude, increasing your safety and options. The mooney airplane is widely recognized as one of the most efficient certified designs. This saves you $$ on gas while still going fast!! You can be in sunny, warm, San Diego in ~2.5hours!! Location: RHV Engine: 40 SMOH (By Western Skyways to new limits) Factory new cylinders, turbo-normalized (enjoy the multiple benefits of flying high) Prop: 40 SNEW (New scimitar, Top Prop, design by Hartzel. (No more reoccurring ADs. Faster!) Annual: Completed August 2008. Next due August 2009. Misc: Dual King KX 155 Radios (digital) IFR Certified Turbo-Normalized Engine Monitor Fuel Flow Meter 4-Place Stereo Intercom Gami-injectors New EI Digital Tachometer New Tires (Goodyear 6ply) New Engine shock mounts Please drop me a line if interested or if you know of anyone who might I added a new photo. Cheers chad
