  1. No, now it shows zero, so it was likely showing atmospheric pressure. 5 when the engine is running
  2. Turns out that's what it was. The line deteriorated and was no longer connected to the transducer. The transducer sits on top of the wheel well for anyone looking for it. There is a tee in the line behind the AI and the hose runs down to the transducer. Hope this helps someone else. It's a pain to get to and see what you are doing.
  3. Thanks I will take a look. My vac pressure reads 3 even before I start the engine and just stays at 3. someone on here suggested the line has probably deteriorated
  4. thanks 1999 Mooney Ovation
  5. Moritz Guage question on vac pressure. Does anyone know where the line is to the gauge I am told these deteriorate over time. I looked behind the panel, but couldn't locate it to replace it.
  6. My switch keeps shutting off. I had the pump replaced and had the amps checked at 32 so my A&P is saying it’s the switch. Does anyone know the rating of the switch and where I can find one I see it’s an Eaton Switch. Thanks
  7. I have the icy breeze I wish I got the artic cooler they do the same thing but the icy breeze is big a bulky and tough to get it in and out without it spilling. It cools the plane down though and works really well and I am down in Florida on the west coast it’s as hot as can be you have to have something to cool the plane down
  8. Problem solved it was a misunderstanding and LASAR is the best the key is $35.
  9. I have been trying to get an extra ignition Key and just heard from LASAR that its $3015.00 because Mooney is only selling it as kit with a new ignition. What a joke. Does anyone know how I can get a key made its a medeco key with a number starting with XB.
  10. I have been trying like crazy to get a spare ignition key for my 1999 Mooney Ovation. I contacted LASAR and Mooney and received an email that the replacement was $3015.00 because they can only send me a new ignition with a new set of keys. $3015!!!!. Why can't Mooney get its act together?
