  1. Thank you sir!!!
  2. Thanks fellas. Wasn't thinking clad would be a route I'd go. That 99% pure Al can jump up some prices. Plus after Alodine I'd hit it with some prime n topcoat and toss the cover so it's one piece. How do I get Frank Crawford's email address? Have a GI 275 I Eng Monitor I need to get installed to, so lots of holes to disappear, and the ADF and Xpnder on far right side gots to go... Blue Skies!!!
  3. Anyone know off the top of their head, and actual drawing, parts manual, or actual application data preferred ... what alloy and temper the instrument panels in M20B are fabricated from? 7075 T6, or 2024 T4 sound good to me, but I'm a do it right, or don't do it type. Garmin went and appvd GNX 375 for A&P install so my need for a new panel got bumped up by about $3K ... Blue Skies!!!!
  4. I just spoke to a CFI that is in the Indy area. His travel fees hurt but being right there near Indy might be a match. email me skypunk107@hotmail.com and I'll send his contact directly, but may be a lil much for me to share his cell digits publicly
  5. Good evening, Searching for similar. A20 Sun Valey AZ area about 1hr drive from Las Vegas. I need 3hrs minimum to solo, and need a 300hr total time CFI with 100hrs retract and 15hrs Mooney. Any M20 time counts does not have to be M20B which is the lil cutie I'm looking to bring home to Texas. Had a CFI on field but he had something come up that will prevent his involvement for some time. Luckily spent a lil extra on "anytime" airline tickets... Any help appreciated, Rob
  6. Your trip report sounds like you and family ate at Green Chile Willys. Not a bad joint. It's BYOB and no charge for that ... great ribeyes too and try the deep fried pecan pie... Rwy @ KTDW could use some work. H81 takeoff to the south you're over the 2nd largest canyon in the U.S. KBGD has some very interesting terrain surrounding it considering most of the KAMA area one can watch their dog run away for 2 weeks. Probably on rwy 4-22 as well cause it's 13,500ft ... old USAF B36 base. Would never flt train there spend as much time taxing on that thing as flying. P.s. Know any CFI w/15hrs of Mooney time and a M20 available.... Trying to buy a M20B in AZ and get her back here. Blue Skies...
