    I’ve noticed that my 1976 F will occasionally ‘add’ fuel during a flight or sometimes not show the proper gallons for fuel burn. Mine has only occurred on one side… Look forward to following this thread. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro

    Hey all [emoji1366] I am a new M20F owner and verifying that I want to continue to use the same oil as the previous owner (picture attached). -I am based in SW Arkansas, he was out of Chicago. (Totally diff climates) -it has a tanis engine heater that will be used occasionally -Engine has 350 hours all in the last 3 years (flew regularly which we will continue) Does anyone have opinions they care to share?     142TAS is what we mostly saw, I was expecting 148-152. Climbs great… 926 useful. Headwinds from 4.5 to 12.5 ranged from 28-35kts. We stayed low for those few extra knots. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro

    Thanks guys. Massive head winds kept us at 4500 on our legs back home. After I dropped dad off route was more easterly so climbed to 6.5 and it seemed to like that much better. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro

    With my limited hours… initial (non-scientific) observation it’s a little slower than expected and the cabin is tighter, but it’s sure fun to fly. This one has an excellent panel, so I have an F at J prices [emoji28] Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro

    Hi all [emoji1366] Quick intro… my dad and I bought a very well equipped 1976 F model. He is a professional pilot ATP and CFII and has over 32k hours. He’s owned 3-4 planes (including an E model when I was a baby). This is my second plane. I had a pponked 182L that I sold in 2012 and have been flying various aircraft since then… mostly a TR182. With the 8.6 I put on the Mooney this week I have just over 730 hours. Planning on finishing my instrument by February. Look forward to learning as much as possible from all of you.
