  8. Hello, After the repair of the main landing gear I was looking for the assembly tool to buy in Europe for a long time. Nothing found. Then I built this. Simple and works well.
  9. Hello, Unknown electrical switch in my M20C 1967. Can someone please tell me where this little poisonous gnome is installed and what it's supposed to do on the plane? Many thanks!
  10. h Hello everyone, thanks to your help I've gotten a little further. I received a junk Mooney and am trying to restore the plane. A lot is broken. This positive control system looks very bad. I wouldn't even repair it. How is it in the US, does the system have to work, or can the plane operate without it? Thank you for the reply Alex
  11. Many thanks! There is no such drawing in my books. Now I understand that. My manual is very old, 1966. Can you get newer books on an internet site? I haven't found it yet.
  12. no, the box sits on the fireshot in the engine bay.
  13. Hi, there are certainly many here who are well acquainted with the electrical system. I only have the schematic from 1966. I don't understand a couple of things. There's a box with the thick cable, I assume it's a noise filter. But it's not on the schematic. How is it supposed to be wired?
  14. Work on the M20 continues. I've been waiting for sealant here in Germany since September! And now, when it gets warmer in my workshop, I'll do the tanks. It look bad. This work scares me. I would like to commission someone to do it, but nobody in Germany does that... and how are you supposed to get the 11 m long wing there ? A Mooney is really something different than a Cessna
  15. Hi, many thanks to everyone who replied to me. I don't have to install the shock absorber and that's very gratifying
  16. I printed out this picture, but the quality is very poor. Can you please send me this letter scanned into pdf to my e-mail address at some point please? That would be very nice of you.
  17. Many thanks! Is this letter enough to get ARC, or do I have to buy this paper from Mooney as STC?
  18. Hello, I can't find out the part number of this shock absorber until now. Can someone please tell me where I can find a new or used one? Thank you for the reply! Alex
  19. Hello, I found a company in France, www.aviatec.aero, that has Polygone 310 and Chemetal MC780. I would like to ask the question here, can someone tell me how much polygon and sealer is needed for both tanks of M20C? The tanks are completely smeared with the old sealer The plane is disassembled, I can turn the wing. How did you clean the top corners in the tank through the top hand covers and seal them with sealer? Or do you have to open the lower hand covers as well? Thank you!
