  1. Hello all I’m attempting to keep up with fuel mx on my 77 J model. Per my serial number I’m guessing I have a older style gascolator. I’m looking to purchase the packing kit for the re install but didn’t see p/n for kit in the IPC. Secondly, I have GAMI fuel injectors and I plan on removing them and using the hoppes #9 soak method per Lycoming & GAMI. The only thing I’m not sure about is do I need to order Lycoming packings or specific GAMI packings.
  2. Governor installed after Overhaul. No leaks after 80 hours of flying. I’m a happy flyer now !
  3. Governor pressure relief valve was leaking. Removed and sending out to Iran Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

  5. It’s a 1977 m20J that I just purchased. I flew the plane 3 hours normal climb and descent to 8500 feet. Annual and Iran was done a month ago when I purchased it. Iran was done due to a pitted camshaft found during a R&R of a bad cylinder.
  6. Hello all I have a leak I noticed that started after a 3 hour flight. Nose gear doors full of oil and a puddle in aft firewall. Possibly from prop governor. I want to do a engine run on the ground but don’t know what settings I should use to properly test the prop to see if it’s coming from there. Thanks In advance all. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
