    Update. The plane should be sold this Friday to an airline pilot who will learn to fly it from a co-worker. I talked to the owner's wife a bit, she was quite nice . She didn't think they charged enough for it. Husband is an A&P and they flew it a lot. Sounds like the time listed was time since overhaul. I told her I was happy to hear it was going to a good home which she appreciated. Who knows, maybe it will be at a future Mooney meet-up! Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk

    I can't tell from ForeFlight if there's FBO fees. A few comments say waived with 10 gal fuel purchase but there are multiple FBOs. I can call tomorrow and find out. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk

    I'm at Legoland California in Carlsbad CA with my family. There are light GA planes flying overhead all day and I thought maybe I could meet up with a Mooniac and look at a beautiful plane. No flight implied, I'd just like to walk around and sit in it to feel the size. If you feel like flying, I'll cover the gas...I'm not one to say no to flying [emoji3].     Agreed, that's the next step for sure. Mission is 4-500nm a hop with the family and luggage for a week stay with relatives (laundry required is assumed, no diva luggage entourage in this family). Favoring Fs or Js for the legroom while still having Mooney efficiency & speed. Since I'm new to the idea of ownership, I'm using $50k as a starting point to allow funds for all the other aspects of ownership. I could end up staying with rentals fora a few more years but just going through the research and factors to consider has taught me a lot. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk

    This caught my eye, mainly because it said "one owner". I plan to contact seller for more information but any specific questions I should ask. I have many in mind ( why TT so low, how often flown in last year, mx location, etc). Anyone near this part of Chicago or know the plane?     Forgot to put some info in my "hello" post. I also haven't figured out how to update information under the avatar. I don't see the option. I'm currently instructing in the T6 at Sheppard AFB. I'm looking into Mooneys for family trips across the Midwest to visit family (4 total pax, kids less than 150 lbs combined). I have time in fast jets and King Airs but growing my GA piston experience and I've never owned a plane. MS has been a great educational resource. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
