    So just chop the m20c tail off and find a beechcraft which doesn't fly any more - plenty around as only A&P's can afford to own/maintain them. Borrow an axe from the NH enforcement fleet which are all grounded due to tank issues. Get the IA to rivet the tail on and apply for a monotail STC with gross weight increase and problem solved because bonanza tanks don't leak. No bladders required.

    Thanks for the welcome. I've seen those Bonanza owners up close pacing nervously around the hangar trying to do long distance business deals to pay for their maintenance while the A&P is adding up the cost of their annual !

    I hope the NH law enforcement fuel tanks are in good shape or their whole fleet will be grounded ! Should we chuck in $1K each and turn this into a mascot aircraft, or is it time to mount the airframe on a pole and sell the FWF to an airboat alligator hunting operator ?

    Greetings. As a fellow Mooney project participant, I would very much like to see a happy ending. I empathize with fh603 as I was in a similar situation with my 231 and circumstances necessitated a liquidation which was not my preference. I would like to hear an update regarding the input of Wrench 978, and am wanting to know if I may be able to help this partnership in some way - from a distance. Let's Zoom !
