I’ve been arguing with the mrs. over that painting since 05. It hangs in my office. She says there’s only room for one redhead In her house and she’s it. I tell her “baby, that’s you from back in 95 when we met...” she gives me that look. so far it’s a stalemate..

my first plane was as a partner in a pa20 back in 2005. A joy to fly, she loved grass strips and wheel landings were very easy. She does sink like a brick as per above but a scosh of power right before the flare and she will grease it in. Not the most beautiful bird but I loved her the same. Had this made of her back in the day.. if too racy I’ll pull it down..

Moved back to PBG about 18 months ago after many years and haven’t flown much since the move. Just did my IPC and am renting a 172 locally for approaches etc. prior birds were 182q & a share of a citabria. Thinking a Mooney is next given occasional legs to FL panhandle and Western NC. Have 900+ hours but only a few Mooney hours and I always enjoyed how they flew and the speed/efficiency. Thought I’d ask if the old club at F45 was still around or if anyone in the area might consider taking me up as a safety pilot or for a short hop or two while I try to get a handle on which model and where to keep her. I’m looking for a safety pilot too in the 172 (F45) if any interest there. more than happy to offer gas, lunch, post flight whiskey etc as a thank you.
