Mooney 201PB I bought it in July 2001. Needed a ride to Oshkosh and that was on my field and for sale. Bought it from Russ Krusse, just before he passed away. He gave me the duel I needed for the insurance before we signed the papers. Nice guy. Never had a problem so far, cleaned and painted all plastic inside, a while back. This year installed Airtex leather seat covers. Needs new lord mounts now-next time. 1150 hrs on Bulduc engine. Only flys about 35 hrs a year. Don Maxwell thinks tube was spacer behind inst. panel. Amazing what shows up in belly pan . Found a button for my jacket down there . greg bauer

1977 201, Dropped my belly pan the other day and two pieces of alum. tubing were laying on the top of the panel. All pieces are about a 1/8 inch in dia. One broken piece was about 1/2 long, one about 1/8 long and found a third piece laying on top of a bracket for my Dukes gear motor. Everything works, no buddy around here can ID these tube pieces or where they were, before they broke . All three pieces were probably one piece at one time. 2nd question shaft coming out of the gear motor drive has a 3/32 hole in the shaft, just past the plastic drive coupler? Does anybody know if a pin is suppose to be in that hole. greg bauer gregies@usfamily.net
