  1. As the article states, this spacer will fix a " dart to the left". Old pucks won't cause that to the extent a bad nose wheel alignment will. Before I installed the spacer my plane would head left in a hurry after landing, the higher the speed the more it would dart left. The spacer fixed that issue and my nosewheel pucks are older then yours.

  4. I had the shim installed last week. Made a big difference. I bought it from Lasar, by going to the service bulletin page on there website. You an also just google “ Lasar service bulletin kits”.
  5. I believe there is an SB to remove it. Mooney states something along the lines of " serves no useful purpose". At least this is true for my C model.
  6. Yes, and I very much thank MikeOh for the article. I have already ordered the shim from lasar. This is my 3ard Mooney, had an F and an E, never experienced anything like this on either previous airplanes. I am going to have the shop check the entire nosewheel when it goes in.
  7. That is possible but today the wind was dead calm, no crosswind. I think Don Maxwells article is exactly what I am experiencing.
  8. On landing roll out my M20C starts to swerve wildly after touch down. It almost took me off the runway ( to the left). At first I though it was me accidentally hitting the brake. I made a conscious effort to make sure that was not the case today. Takeoff doesn't seem to do it as badly, but there is some instability as speed picks up. I have thought about maybe a brake pad dragging on the disk, but the brakes seem fine. Any ideas what maybe causing this? thanks much.
  9. I have a set of Mooney M20C cowl plugs for an M20C with the 201 mod, cowl closure. These were sent to me by mistake. Unfortunately my N number is embroidered on them. They are brand new never used. Again, will only fit an M20C with 201 mod. $100 shipped.

  12. Hi all, Selling my Garmin Aera 760 setup, going to try the Uavionics Sky Sensor/Ipad. This is all you really need to get ADS B in, traffic and weather. It includes the following: Aera 760 in excellent cosmetic and operational condition. Includes yoke mount, cradle, and cigarette lighter power cable. Garmin GDL 39 with battery, ( not 3D) also working as it should. Includes two charger cables, one with wall wart &n one with cigarette lighter. The GDL 39 communicates with the 760 via bluetooth. It can also be hard wired ( cable not included). Please note, 760 database is out of date. $1200 shipped in Cont USA.   15. I saw some on vintage mooney facebook, but they are a different part numbers. I am not sure if they are interchangable across part numbers.
  16. I am looking for a non-leaking rudder servo for m 1966 M20C. Part number is 2980-1. I have not been able to repair my leaky servo. I believe fore and aft are interchangeable.

  19. Thanks guys, very helpful. My turn coordinator is remote mounted under the avionics bay cover. It appears the tubes are all connected to the bottom of the TC. I will have a look today.
  20. I have a similar problem on my 1966 M20C. It has a constant left bank turn, even with the trim knob all the way to the right. Ground testing works as it should, opposite the turn. Trim knob works the way it should to the left, but is very slow and weak to the right. I am in the process of checking for leaks, but it is going to be tough.
  21. Looking for an airspeed indicator for my 66 M20C. Also looking for the 2 actuators in the tail, with cables, for the positive control system.

  23. Sorry for the delay. Over the top, and it is the Ram mount, yoke mount from Sportys, with the Ram Ipad 2 mini holder.
