Well, actually, it’s working fine except for radio number two switch does not work now. I did the swap out and they both work fine on one in the tray. I found someone in the Midwest that’s willing to work on it, but they don’t know where to originated what who built the panel and where to start. Yeah the original installer of my new stack said that don’t give it up because it’s so simple that anybody could fix it sure, OK who is anybody, I did send a note down to Mooney. They were probably busy sweeping the carpet no no reply.

Hey guys, kind of a newbie but not really. Looking for an audio panel like the one pictured here to keep my M20F pure stock. Was working really well forever but like everything else now it’s starting to act up located guys who could fix it but nobody knows what it is so if that’s what you could help me with that be great. I’d be happy to purchase the audio head itself if you have one that’s functional or semi-functional. Retired working on a slim budget as if that’s even possible with aviation. Here’s what it looks like in the panel. I need the box that’s behind it or what it is. Thanks a million. Deedub

Hottest cylinder CHT at cruise

Just for the discussion, for the hot J operator. How many hours are on that engine? Given good operating techniques, my experience has taught me that CHT temps increase as the chronological age of the engine or TBO life span decreases. Any chance that this engine is getting near TBO? You can chase a lot of ghosts, but in the end, just throwing more money in the pit when the simplest explanation might be the most practical. On my third IO 360 A1A in 40 years. Never seen those CHTS!
