JETmachine 11 Posted June 14, 2018 (edited) Report A 1993 IO360A3B6D single drive mag Lyc was STC'd to the 1963 airframe along with the 1993 M20J cowl. Note the firewall joggle that extends the cowl attachment forward 1" was required to fit the J cowl to the '63 airframe. The '93 Lyc is a 24V engine requiring a change of starter, alternator, bimetal oil sensor, removal of the shower spark system and Bendix ignition key shower spark tab. Installation includes the back of the engine oil cooler and the K&N air filter on the front. Note the inspection panel added to the front of the 1/4" 201 windshield frame.
