It has been a big project that has taken some 3 months.

You are talking most of the airplane torn apart.

Kevin Parker from Autopilots Central has been doing a great job keeping me informed and being the general contractor on N252TC.

Bob Ferguson was the main man orchestrating this project, but about half way through he retired. He was a very knowledgeable about panels and avionics

and really knew his thing. But after 30 or more years of doing this I guess he had enough. Sorry to see him go.

Trying to justify this much work and new avionics going into a 1986 2000 hour total time aircraft. Well there is no justification. That's about it. I hope it all comes together.

I am really looking forward to Gps steering.  What a workload reducer.  And the APS4a will take another load off my head when I am shooting a LPV down to mins.

I appreciate the shout-out, Aron!  This was one of my most favorite projects for a few reasons.  First, it was nice to work with someone who wanted it done right the first time, including new panels and doing what needed to be done.  That isn't always the case!  It was also nice to be able to basically rip all of the old stuff out and replace it with new stuff.  That makes it so much easier for me and makes the installation much cleaner.  And, personally, I enjoyed integrating everything (mainly the JPI) with the airplane.  Working with that huge wiring diagram on the wing was challenging, but I love a good challenge!!  Thank you for letting me work on your airplane, it was a pleasure!!!
