See my old iphone with a bad elf gps and velcro fuzz on the back and the side. And a large paper clip too - it has velcro teeth, and on one of the hand holds I bent it back so it ads extra support to grip the phone velcro. The other metal clip comes of by original design and comes out of the way once in the plane.
