  1. Jack, Thanks for the info, the plane has the 503 regulators that have not been changed. We have replaced and repaired( new coupler) the alternators, could we have miswired them? Jay
  2. Yes, I do have a service manual. My issue is the "hi volt " light never goes off even when the alt. field switches are off. The light should be blinking to indicate a low volt condition. Jay
  3. I finally got both alternators working on the plane, but still have a " hi/low volt" light on the annunciator panel. I have 29.2 volts on theJPI gauge. Any help tracking down this issue would be helpful. Btw the plane in question is a 1987 252. Jay 252VV
  4. Thanks for the info, when I emailed the factory the said the VR515 was the regulator i needed. Mooney wants over $1800.00 for the OEM replacement, that's crazy. I will check with Don Maxwell to see if he is refurbishing the original Jay
  5. Satelmaszek, I would like to purchase your spare regulator. You can PM me with a price at jweiner03@earthlink.net The pinouts would also be helpful. Regards Jay
  6. The factory told me the PMA voltage regulator for the 252 is a VR515, I purchased one and the connectors are different, does anyone know how the 515 color coded wires match up to the Mooney connector pin numbers? Thanks Jay
