Joe, also check your two static drains on the fuselage if they are corroded or leaking the static system won't seal

  Found an o-ring kit from Dan at LASAR. $1.65! (Verified decimal point was not to the left 2 digits too far!) We'll see if this fixes the leak. New valve assembly is $494.
  
  Thanks, my shop did inspect the static drains and were found to be ok.
