  1. On the cowl flap - does it not close; or, does it pop open to the trail position when you try to close it? If the latter, we had the same issue in our 231, resolved by a new spring and an adjustment of the linkage.
  2. Quote: DaV8or Does the replacement switch have to be TSO'd and have PMA? There are thousands of rocker switches available outside of the aviation business. Usually just a few bucks. If it's a circuit breaker too, then should be about $50 maybe.
  3. I've used a set of Peltor Junior ear defenders for my boy since he was 10 mo old. 22 dB NRR. http://earplugstore.stores.yahoo.net/ear-muffs-for-children.html?CMP=google5&KW=(keyword)&gclid=CNvk-Ivk0KQCFQgKKgodsiF1DQ
  4. Quote: Vref Hi Peter, are you sure about that if I look at the details from chief I see ETA....?
  5. The switch is a Klixon TC-20 "single–phase, switchable on/off, rocker–type" circuit breaker. See: http://www.sensata.com/klixon/circuit-breaker-aircraft-20tc.htm Labelling options are listed on the left sidebar. Option 16 is for the "elevator trim" label. The switches are distributed by Edmo. You should be able to order retail through LASAR, who will certainly be able to tell you if there are any other options for the part. The LASAR guys saved me almost $700 during my annual by pointing me in the right direction on a part my local shop thought I needed, that I didn't. Good luck!
