Thanks to all who have responded. I will check out all the leads. I really thought there was a kit of some sort to provide an inside release for the baggage door. Seems like there was even some issue with the STC'd kit as the safety pin came out on a couple of them and let the door open in flight. anyone remember seeing that or maybe it was for some other make. g2

Is there a kit out there to allow opening the baggage door from inside the airplane? It really bothers me that the entry door is the only way out of my airplane. I know the newer Mooneys have a way to release it and i want to be able to egress as well. I do carry visegrips if the handle breaks on the door but want an alternate way out.
