Does anyone know of a CFI near Charlotte, NC. I have an M20F and will be taking on a partner. He is just finishing up his license, and once that is done will require some Mooney-specific training in order to get insurance. Thanks, Keith Phelps Mooney M20F (KIPJ)

I looked into this same business model not too long ago. I did a lot of research and after looking at different scenarios, talking to the local FBO/pilots, and crunching all the numbers, it just didn't seem viable. There's actually a company that tried to do this a while back and also found out that it wasn't profitable. Their website is (was) http://weatherent.com.

Hi all, My name is Keith. I recently moved to Charlotte, NC from Blacksburg, VA. I have a '69F that is now happily based at Lincolnton (IPJ) - I say happily because 15V now gets to live in a hangar after being stuck on a tie-down line for the past several years.
