Thanks for the replies everyone. I took off the muffler and pressure tested it. All checks out good there, no leaks at all when I inspected it. Going to reassemble and lube up the ball joints with C5A, and with new exhaust gaskets for the exhaust risers. Appreciate the help.

Had a CO alarm go off in flight and de-cowled to check what’s going on. I see nearly every ball joint and exhaust probe leaking a decent amount. Any recommendations on how to go about repairing? I know how to deal with the exhaust flanges and replace the gaskets there l, but I’m not familiar with how to seal up ball joints or probes.

Thanks everyone. Does anyone know why it’s this odd circular shape? Is there some sort of circular device in the wing that the fuel is flowing around? I’ll be opening the access panels and taking a look and updating later.

Thanks everyone for the replies. It leaks there no matter the fuel level. Last tank reseal was many years ago. Does opening the access panel nearest to it require draining the tank?

Hey everyone, I’ve discovered a leak on my left wing that has this oddly circular shape. It’s near a hole that I can’t determine the purpose of. I’m not aware of where the fuel tank actually ends in relation to the outside of the plane, if anyone can provide some insight as to what this could be it would be great!
