  1. Yes mine has those too which is what I was hoping was burned but they’re totally fine. There are two more on the right side under the panel too and I found those hoping that would be it but they’re fine too.
  2. This what I was hoping for but all the fuses I can find are all ok. I even found a couple of the tiny barrel fuses hidden under the panel. I found the electrical schematics and see that the glareshield shares a common ground so I know that’s connected since glareshield works. But it also has a line that runs to a dimmer bus from the control box and that could also be a weak point.
  3. Well no joy. New transistors did nothing. Has to be just an unconnected ground or something somewhere.
  4. I’ll have to check there but I also found in the service manual it describe a transistors that are on the back of the lighting control box. That matches what’s in my plane. Would there be another set of transistors in the tail as well or if it has those two on the control box that would be the only ones. So hopefully it’s that the transistor is bad because apparently you can replace that.
  5. So beyond the battery access area? In the rudder? Interesting. I’ll have to look it up.
  6. Spent today trying to troubleshoot something and came up with a dead end…. have an 89 m201se. The panel lights don’t work, so I had hoped it was just the super expensive fuse burned out. Nope. That’s fine. Glareshield lights work along with the flaps/trim lights. I pulled the rheostat box out and tested all the resistors, rheostats, main breaker, etc and I can’t find anything. It was in the shop in 2024 for a new xpdr and I assume that it’s as simple as just a missing ground wire or something disconnected. Main wire connection is plugged in from the controls knobs since it’s all the same thing for the glareshield lights. anywhere else I need to check? It’s all of them not just a couple. Thanks in advance for any tips.
