Hey DVA, Thanks for the advice. Just had a hard start yesterday where I killed the battery trying to start in above 90 degree weather. Fortunately, a more experienced pilot used a similar technique to start the engine after a good charge. Quick question, on the step, Mixture Full Rich for about 5 seconds then Idle Cut Off, you say not to use the pump at all, so are you cranking for those 5 seconds and then mixture idle and cranking again?
