    Late to this topic, but I have an stec 50 connected to g5. It was working fine in stab/nav mode....hdg was all over the place. I thought after reading your thread it would be the simple resistor change. I have not changed the resistor yet, and now, none of my lateral modes work. System shows ready, they illuminate but do not track nav/stab etc. Alt does hold well. Any ideas what would cause all lateral modes to stop working?? thanks in advance, hope some of you are still on this thread!
