  1. We cycle the emergency extension every time we have it on jacks and have had no issue with it coming all the way down.
  2. Mine does not have the override switch. But checking the squat switch will be on my list of things to check. Thanks.
  3. That is my thinking. Also, but i'm not sure it's worth a check
  4. My donuts were replaced about 8 years ago. I will check specs to see if they are needing replaced.
  5. The motor doesn't seem to keep trying after it stops.
  6. It is a Dukes actuator. We keep up with the maintenance on the gear part and just changed out the coupling at the last annual.
  7. Do you know who does the motor rebuilding?
  8. That is something that I have not checked
  9. The motor stops trying after the first attempt to take it all the way. It just shows the light saying that the gear is unsafe.
  10. The circuit breatee does not pop. It shows a short duration discharge.
  11. I have viewed it with a camera attached to the tail tie down. It goes almost all the way up, but not all the way.
  12. I am having trouble with my 1977 J model. When it is cold the gear does not want to fully retract. The motor is trying to finish it as the electric meter shows a strain on the battery. I can put it back down and it goes up all the way on the second try. It is electric gear. It gets greased regularly. We swing it on annual inspection and it always goes through the cycle flawlessly. But the hangar is warm.
