Hello all. I have a 76 F and the gear down slider seems to be sliding aft with each successive gear cycle. I opened up the center panel on the floor and it appears a plastic rivet has broken that held the gear down plate to the small piece of metal that is actuated by the gear cycling. Anyone have this problem and is there an alternative to plastic rivets that will work? I’ve tried aluminum but the heads are too thick to facilitate proper sliding in the channel. Thanks.
