  1. Thanks for the reply. Yup, that’s the plan.
  2. We are in the process of stripping out the interior of our 1964 M20E. Behind the rudder pedals is a fabric blanket, presumably to insulate the cabin. It doesn’t look original although it is mounted behind the equipment behind the avionics and would be impossible to completely remove. It’s falling apart and has to go. Does this piece exist in other Mooney’s? (See attached pictures - the red is over spray from some poorly done interior painting). At this point I am going to cut it out and replace it with dense insulation.

  5. We have started the process of refreshing the interior of our 1964 M20E. Can someone tell what the backing material is for the side panel carpeting? I have attached a photo of the panel from the lower co-pilot side. TIA
  6. How did you add the headrests? We are looking at redoing our 1964 M20E and headrests are a consideration but not sure if they need to be certified.
