  1. soooo... I'm still getting feedback that the mtg-14-d 4 blade prop is not valid for the m20s 310hp/2700 rpm upgrade that m20s 310hp upgrade is STC SA02193CH; coupled with STC SE02930AT, an engine STC for Av Power Model 1O-550-G-AP conversion same as io-550-n there have been several threads and responses that the MT prop is valid for the 310hp STC Does anyone have the STC info that specifically allows the MT prop for the M20S 310 upgrade STC specific information would be helpful to resolve this
  2. thank you for that feedback and did some more investigation the mooney 310 stc SA02193CH only specifies the hartzell but there is a separate doc, an STC letter of authorization, that allows the MT prop as a replacement
  3. this post indicates the MT is valid is there a resource I can check that would definitively indicate the MT prop is acceptable?
  4. yes, there was a prop strike the STC specifies the Hartzell ... doesn't indicate an MT however, the MT prop STC indicates it is a valid replacement for the Hartzell so....does that mean it's okay?
  5. Hey there...new to this space...shopping for a mooney...not sure if this is the right topic area to post looking at an eagle to purchase it had the 310 hp upgrade STC SA02193CH with the Hartzell prop. however, later, they replaced the Hartzell prop with an MT prop, MTV-14-D, 4-blade composite Is this an issue? is it valid? Is there any risk associated with this? almost ready to purchase it, but don't want to incur risk of being required to buy a new prop
