    Discussed with Maxwell, spar is very likely finished so replacement is probably what will happen. I do have the equipment necessary on site for that level of disassembly. Thanks everyone for the input.

    Just found intergranular corrosion on the doubler where the lower fuselage tube runs through the spar on my 62 C. Is it worth/possible repairing?
