  2. I’m in Austin and selling my 2007 M20R. Put up some info here. N678JC.
  3. I'm around 175 TAS at high altitude.
  4. Yes, I normally cruise between 12-14 GPH. If it's an especially long trip with favorable winds, I'll sometimes climb up to 15-16,000 on oxygen to get better fuel numbers. Cruised at 200 knots GS at 12.8 gph on my last trip back from Denver to Austin.
  5. $339K. Fuel tanks are 102 gallons. So it's really a 2-person plane if you want to take off with full tanks. With 4 people, I take off with 50 gallons, which is ~3 hours plus reserves.
  6. I've flown her 120 hours in the last 4 months and enjoyed every minute, but I got the chance to hop into a turbine and I jumped. 7. The average T-hangar is 1,000 sqft. The price estimates I've seen to build one range from $30-150 per square foot. Keep in mind, $150-200/sqft is what you can build a modest house for so I'm guessing the real number is more in the $100/sqft range. So we're talking $1M investment. Given the length of the 9-year backlog e.g. Georgetown, I think you'd still have a long waitlist of people willing to pay $1,000/month. That's an 8.3 year payback period. Those are better numbers than you'd get in residential or commercial construction by a wide margin.
  8. Given the long waiting list all the Austin area airports, there's a lot of money to be made for whoever builds some new hangars to rent them out... curious why nobody's jumping on that windfall opportunity?
