  1. Are there any types of window material that is thin enough to be installed into a car or truck and still be safe to drive on the road? I see drag cars with some type of plastic. I have a '99 Jeep Cherokee and I need to devise a way to get air into the rear to auxiliary coolers. I was thinking about making scoops and ducting from fiberglass, but I started search for "off the shelf" parts that I could put together and I ended up on this forum on a thread where a guy was asking what yall thought of the window scoops. Can you think of anyway that I could install some aircraft window scoops? I was thinking if there was a material of the proper thickness I could find some "mom and pop shop" that could cut it to the stock dimensions, then I could cut a hole in it and mount the window scoop the same as any of yall would. I bet someone reading this has an ever better idea. It doesn't even have to be clear. Right now they're tinted so dark they're basically black anyway. I just thought the clear might work because I already have a white scoop on the hood so the side scoops would be more subdued aesthetically. Anyway, as a "groundling" I apologize for treading upon your airspace, haha. Please tell me yall derogatorily refer to those who can not fly as "groundlings", hahaha...
