  1. Hi Aerodon, thanks. Doesn't look like the part number matches the Brittain autopilot servos. Here is a picture of the pulling side. The connection to it is still in the plane, so I'm not sure what it looks like.
  2. Does anyone know of a fix for a torn rubber diaphragm in the Brittain Industries vacuum actuator used in the vacuum operated precise flight speed brakes. The rest of the system is in good shape and it seems like overkill to upgrade it to the electric version for lack of a simple rubber diaphragm. Has anyone done the upgrade? If so, was it worth the money?
  3. My manually operated electric trim intermittently failed gradually resulting in a trim failure warning on the KC 192 autopilot (which now doesn't work ). Manual trim still works fine. Anyone see this before? Is it likely a failure of the trim servo, a bad connection to the trim switch, or a problem with the autopilot computer? Where is a good place to start looking? If I can't sort it out, should I take it first to an avionics shop or a mechanical shop?
  4. Does anyone know where to get a replacement rubber boot for the vacuum actuator on 1990 Precise Flight speed brakes? I believe the actuator was made by Brittian Industries.
