I haven't heard that one yet? I will check. Is there any reason I can't use my current cylinders if they are in good shape after an overhaul? I only have 550 hrs on my current cylinders....

Anyone have any ideas on how long the wait is on the 0-360-A1D new cylinder kits are taking? I can't seem to get straight answer from Superior or Lycoming. Any help is appreciated? I am looking for 4 of the SL36006W-A20P (millennium) or the Lycoming. Thanks

They emailed me back about an hour ago with a new quote at $2721.00 requiring 5 hrs dual, and 10 TT in a M20C. That seemed much more reasonable, but I felt on the high side of reasonable, but maybe not. Still waiting on AVEMCO and BWI to send their quotations. I will check into Travers and associates as well. The one I received was brokered through IAT aviation insurance from Assured Partners. Thanks for all the input, you all are great! Thanks, J

I am purchasing a 1965 M20C Ranger (65K hull value), and was curious on what you guys were paying for Insurance, and who you were using? I am 850TT with INST/COMM/MULTI, but the quote I just received at $4200 from assured partners seems high? Maybe not, just curious what you guys are seeing? I am waiting for quotes from BWI and AVEMCO. Any help is appreciated as always! Thanks, J

Hello there! I am looking for a CFI/CFII to come to Indiana with me when I pick up my plane at the end of July. I am purchasing an 1965 M20C Ranger and would like someone with considerable experience in this aircraft to fly with me for 3-4 hours in Indiana then make the flight home to Palatka (28J). I have 850+ TT, with INST/COMM/MULTI, but just don't have any time In a Mooney. If anyone reading this knows an instructor, or is an instructor, and is interested please let me know. I will potentially need someone beginning July 26th, and we will return on July 28th, Wx pending of course. I am not looking for someone for free, just to be clear. I will pay for Instruction time, day rate, or whatever agreement that works, plus expenses. These are the dates that I have to have unless Wx gets in the way. Thank you in advance!

I am in the process of purchasing a 1965 M20C Ranger and wanted to purchase an owner's manual as I am not picking it up until the end of the month after it is out of annual. I am having the hardest time finding one through the usual outlets, so just wondering if anyone had any idea other than contacting Mooney directly. Any help is greatly appreciated!
