I have a 78 M20K 231 that has Glare Fences on each wing tip (part number 210386-001 & 002). Can someone enlighten me, other than the obvious, as to what glare these prevent? Mine are pretty bent up and the lower portions are broken off. My assumption is they aren't anything aerodynamic, just to reduce glare from the stobes/nav lights? (Part #6 on the diagram). wingtip.pdf
