My EFIS 40 HSI has gone out and I’m going to have to do some upgrades. At minimum I’m going to replace #1 com and nav with Garmin GTN 650 and replace HSI with Garmin GI 275. my question is can I keep the KI 256 Attitude indicator with flight director to drive the autopilot? And if so would I be losing any autopilot functions? I know dual 275 is probably the way to go but I’m trying to stay within a budget. The attitude indicator and autopilot are working great at the moment. Thanks for any input

Thanks for the quick reply. I will look it up. I will get the model number next trip to the hangar but it will be several days.

Any idea what I need here to seal the edges around the heating element on the prop? thanks in advance
