  1. Top of the stack! Very interesting. I like the the look of your panel. C model, what are the four knobs left of the throttle, prop, mixture?
  2. I think if the window slams shut it means the cabin is under pressure, if the cabin were under vacuum, you would have to push the window closed. Greg
  3. Yes, it’s on the center post. Linear magnetic measurement device.
  4. Thanks. Here is what the panel looks like--we wanted the two nav indicators close by. I can tell you those instruments are as packed as possible.
  5. Hey, short body (mostly C) owners! We just picked up a JPI EDM-900. Ripping out all the instruments it replaces, including new fuel transducers. Where did you put yours in the panel? Photos, words, sketches--looking for ideas and comments. Second question: Does anyone know if the remote display (RAD) for the 930 will function with the 900? It might change where we mount the 900. This is one of those projects where I am so happy to have the non 201 and later windshield. The work will be easy looking into the back of the panel standing up (grin). Looking for your experiences, advice, and suggestions. Greg and Lawrence
  6. You are right Dan @LASAR has been completely awesome to work with; he hooked me up with everything I needed for my dorsal, gap seals, and smooth belly project.
  7. Has anyone had one of the rubber couplers fail in their early electric gear C's or Execs? Check out the photo. While working on putting in a smooth belly kit from LASAR I found a chunk of rubber on the panel. After further investigation, my IA partner goes "whoa....look at this". If that coupler had failed completely, even manual extension would not work. As I look at the design, am i right? Now to find one and find what Mooney calls it.
